Installed new hard drive, mouse and keyboard don't work

Installed a windows vista hard drive to get old photos. There was already a windows 7 drive in there along with it, the computer booted up the vista drive, but the mouse and keyboard won't work. theyre plugged in but the mouse light does not come on.

Hi there MyKeyblader,

As far as I understand, you had a boot hard drive with Windows 7. Also, you had another drive(not installed on this computer) with Vista right?
If this is the case, you will be able to get your photos if you boot with Windows 7 and access your other drive(the one with Vista), which will be a secondary one.
