[SOLVED] Installed new motherboard/CPU with existing hdd now mouse and keyboard wont work

Installed a new motherboard/CPU with a existing hdd that already has windows and I forgot to delete the old drivers for the other motherboard. Mouse and keyboard functions in the bios screen but after windows starts up they dont work. I'm having a brain fart, what's the easiest way to fix this.

Also forgot to mention I tried to reinstall windows but once I get to that page the keyboard and mouse goes out

Swapped out my motherboard, CPU, RAM and installed a new OS. The CD the motherboard came with starts the download but says it needs .Net Framework and some windows update so it starts downloading it then pops up it needs to restart and the system will open the DVD setup after restart but it just starts all over again like it's in a loop. Any suggestions?

None of my USB ports or the ethernet port works, I'm assuming it's because I need the drivers. I'm using a old mouse.

what os? sound like it is not supported on the motherboard.

Having nearly the same problem. Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, new MSI board, old HDD. Was this problem resolved?

windows 7 don't support in new hardware

Might also try booting up in Windows safe mode.
Delete old drivers, install new drivers.
Then try booting up in regular Windows mode.
