So last night after some frustrating experiences, I had managed to install my new hard drive with Windows 7 thinking all my troubles had finally ended. Well,, after installing Windows 7 last night, I wake up this morning to discover that none of the drives on the computer are updated. Why are they not updated? Because the internet isn't connected despite being connected via ethernet connection and if I put in my old HDD that had been having problems, the internet connection IS there, so its not a question of the motherboard-installed card no longer working.

I don't know. As you can tell, I'm in a conundrum and getting increasingly frustrated by it. I can't get my internet to work because drivers arent updated, and I can't update my drivers because it wont connect to the internet, even if I try to re-install Windows 7 via CD.

The computer in question is this- HP Desktop PC Refurbished. Nothing on this PC but the HDD and the video card has changed. Please help.
