Question Installed new PSU, now getting ‘reboot & select proper boot device’

I installed a new PSU & am now getting this message whenever I boot my computer up. If I go into BIOS, I can see that my hard drive is present so I don’t believe it’s a faulty connection?

Can you check it? Can you try another SATA power connector?

Just changing the PSU would indicate a cable connection issue.

If this is a modular PSU, you're not using the cables from a previous modular PSU are you?

I’ve tried different SATA connectors & double checked it’s plugged in right. Still no joy

What about @USAFRet 's question?

Is this a modular PSU? Are the SATA cables modular cables? Are they the cables that came with the PSU? What PSU is this?

My new PSU is the EVGA 850 GQ, 80+ GOLD 850W, Semi Modular. I’ve used all of the new cables that come with it

Do you still have the old PSU? If you put it back in, does the drive work again?

I have a 1TB hard drive & a SSD. Although my SSD isn’t even been picked up in BIOS

The SSD is where the OS is/was installed?
And it is now not booting up?

Have you physically checked ALL cable connections? Not just look...touch and verify.

Besides just touch and verify....unplug and re-connect.
