Question Installed new radeon drivers now my computer freezes at the lock screen.

• Installed latest radeon driver
• restarted computer
• display now freezes after a few seconds on lock screen
• Computer unusable now
• works in safe mode
• Tried reinstalling drivers in safe mode, didn't work
• Tried uninstalling drivers in safe mode, didn't work

I'll update with specs when I can. Doing a reset of my pc so I wanted to get some suggestions in case the reset doesn't fix the problem. One thing I do remember for sure is it's a vega 64 gpu

full system spec? include make and model of the psu

The system reset did fix the problem.
After the reset I reinstalled the same gpu drivers and it's working completely fine so it must have been some kind of software issue. Feel free to delete the thread, unless you'd think someone else might have the same issue and might find this helpful.
