Hi all, I am currently experiencing some trouble with the new 3200Mhz RAM i just purchased. PC wont boot after installing the new RAM, no lights on keyboard, mouse, nor monitor. But case fans and cpu fans are spinning, new RAM also has lights. PC still works with the previous RAM at 2666Mhz. Tried removing cmos battery, but issue persists. Spec as follows:

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600AF
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M-H
GPU: Sapphire Pulse RX580
PSU: 550W Bronze
New RAM: 2x8GB 3200Mhz GSkill Trident Z Royal F4-3200C16D-16GTRS, CL16-18-18-38, 1.35V
Old RAM: 8GB 2666Mhz GSkill F4-2666C19S-8GNT, CL19-19-19-43, 1.20C

I also tried installing only 1 of the new RAM to test if its a faulty RAM, both resulting in the same no lights on keyboard, mouse, nor monitor.

Help please 🙁

Hi Diddly, thank you for your reply. My RAM is not listed in the doc, but I managed to get it working through the following steps:
  • Install old ram, head to bios, turn xmp off and set frequency to stay at 2666Mhz at 1.20V
  • Turn off PC and install new RAM, try booting and it worked
  • Restart and head to bios, increase frequency to 3200 at 1.35V
  • Save and restart

Glad I dint have to buy another set of ram >.<!
