I cloned my Hard drive onto an SSD and replaced it. Haven't had any issues except a strange issue with ping which causes a lot of problem in online games.

I am using a PCI wireless adapter to connect to a wireless network. I am using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. The wireless adapter is "TP-LINK 300Mbps Wireless N Adapter"

I've tried reinstalling the drivers and that has not fixed it. Any ideas?

Solution
See if these work

Download the zip file extract it, then go to the adapter in device manager.

Click on driver tab / update driver / browse / have disk.

Go to the folder where the extracted file is, select the inf file. Wait for it to finish / you may have to reboot

See if it's any better
Are any other computers or devices affected?

First make sure that your TP-LINK adapter is fully and securely seated. May have loosened a bit during the SSD install. Likewise check the antenna connections and orientation.

The ping results are not particularly useful per-se. Lots of online shopping going on, lots of people on-line gaming etc.. Bad weather in many places. Lots of room for network traffic congestion and internet performance problems. Might even be someone doing some sort of gaming cheat....

Try tracert or pathping to get another view of what is happening.

Try to narrow things down some.

Thank you for your help, I was able to figure out the problem. It was an issue with the Wifi adapter's drivers. Im not sure why it only sprung up when I changed the Hard Drive. http://www.tp-link.com/us/download/TL-WN851ND.html#Driver It doesn't have a Windows 10 driver so I had to run this it in Windows 7 compatibility mode. Before I had let Windows install its drivers, I guess they were outdated and just as incompatible.

Most of Tplink's adapters are crap. Even tho I'm using the WDN3200 lol.

They dont update their drivers for Win10 (or if they do, they dont work). And theyre in no hurry to fix it

I had to wait until the Win10 AU came out before this adapter could detect and use 2.4 or 5 GHZ.

Unless I installed a 3rd party install ( by Mediatek, thats the chip in this thing).

The previous versions of Win10 installed the drivers, but I couldnt use 5 GHZ. because the 5 GHZ connection never appeared.

So if you're not using the AU version I suggest you install it. Or even better get the ISO with mediacreation tool and do a clean install of it

Thats what I had to do to fix the prob with this adapter

It looks like your adapter uses the Atheros AR9227 chipset
