Hi all,
I have just installed a new version of HwInfo, and it shows me Temperature 2 of my one SSD drive!

My laptop has a single HDD ,and a single SSD drive.

What does Temperature 2 of the SSD drive mean?
It currently shows me a temp of 78 degrees Celsius!

And I am using a cooling pad!

Please tell me!
Thanks in advance!
Best regards!

can you post a picture of what you see there?

78 on a ssd or hard disk must be fake, usually a hard disk dies after 60, ssd is not that different so must be a wrong reading, post the pic to know more

also you can run cristal disk info, it tells information of the hard disk and ssd only, including temperature reported by the drive itself

Dear atljsf here you are a picture: http://imgur.com/a/ugrzq

it says that at some point reacher 79°c, but the readings remained at 46 with a minimum of 43

those readings, all of them are way to high, all the time

what does cristaldisk info says?

remember that hwinfo can do wrong readings, it says my cpu reaches around 100°c while playing gta v, it barely reaches 60°c so we need other sources to confirm this

can you enter in the uefi bios? sometimes there it reports hard disk and ssd temperatures, not likely on a laptop but worth to try

Here you are a picture of ChrystalDiskInfo and HwInfo,it says all : http://imgur.com/a/y1ase

sorry, i was expecting first the hard disk reading, don't know why, please post both values

leave always open cristaldisk info, download and run a couple times cristaldiskmark, see how temperatures respond while the tests are runing
