Installed Physical Memory not showing up

Ok so i was wondering if i should be concerned about this on my system info it says that i have 8 gb ram Total physical memory but it says its not available in the Installed Physical Memory it should i be concerned ?

Is seems to be the OS not seeing exactly the same amount of RAM as the BIOS reports.

I wouldn't worry about that. If the system properties report 8GB, then it recognizes the whole memory.
If you look at the other stats, it's reporting total and free memory, so it counts up to 8GB.

thanks so much its been like this for a few months and just noticed this havnt had any problems but wanted to make sure the pc will run fine since im about to upgrade my graphic card next week

thanks so much its been like this for a few months and just noticed this havnt had any problems but wanted to make sure the pc will run fine since im about to upgrade my graphic card next week

No problem. You could also check the Performance tab in Task Manger. In the "Physical Memory" section, you will see exactly what your Total memory is and also how mouch of it is used, cached, available and free.

I remember a similar issue with old PCs when installing really big hard drives. The BIOS would show a 200GB drive as just 8GB in some cases, but inside Windows, it would show up again as 200GB, so you had the correct amount of usable space.
