I just installed the new R7 260X and I get no signal on the monitor.
Yes I plugged in the powe connector.
The PCIe slot is also fine because I tried installed old AMD 4350 and it worked.
The thing is I cannot even go into Bios when I plug in R7 260X, so I cannot do anything. I have a 500W PSU which is working great, so I doubt it is the PSU thats causing problems.
Really need to get this thing working 🙁 HELP

Damn, I guess I will just get a replacement.
The card had lot of finger prints on the PCB when I first opened it.

Do you mean to say that all those 40 minutes your screen was black? Were you able to even see the BIOS at start? Let me know, I might just try that and see if it works out.

Kept the PC on with the new GPU installed waiting for the thing to boot up and show something on the screen. But nothing. I guess its really DOA and needs a replacement.

The card is bad RMA it. And that 40 minutes that took your card to be recognized is due to the BIOS error in motherboard that is not a trick.

Update: What are total system specs? It seems like that your power supply is dual rail. And the rail that supports processor and graphic card have only 18 amperes.

Motherboard: Intel H61 (dont know the exact model)
4GB RAM
500GB + 250GB HDD

Thats about it. Anything more you need to know?

EDIT: I checked the voltage rails with my multimeter and it shows 12.05V, so it does not look like the card is overloading the PSU if I am not wrong.

@Coolboy, yes I do have an old card here and it works.

i can help you tomorrow with a simple trick right when i wake up ill hop on here try to help you GOODNIGHT

That would be awesome if you can help me out. I am waiting.
