I put a another stick of ram in then did some cable management but now when I go to turn it on nothing happens even the fans don't start. Iv check all the cables, tried it without the gpu nothing has worked.

Adding extra memory is not something memory manufacturers guarantee to work. They only guarantee what is sold in a kit to be compatible with each other.

Adding extra memory may cause the memory to be unable to operate at rated specifications or be unable to boot up. Since the memory has never been tested together before there is no guarantee as to how it will work if at all.

If there was any time between when the original stick was manufactured and when the new stick was manufactured, there is no guaranty that they will be compatible with each other. They were NOT tested to be compatible(how could they?).

It is NOT the same stick.
Ram must be matched.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
That is why ram vendors will NOT support ram that is not bought in one kit.

My best suggestion is to test each stick individually using memtest86+.
If they run individually, try increasing the ram voltage a bit in the bios before installing the second stick.

Okay so I took the ram out and tried again no change. Sometimes when I go to turn it on when I switch the plug on at the mains I hear a sound then a second noise (same sound) couple of seconds later what could that be?

Never mind I'm an idiot i woke up this morning Nd decide to check my cables again turns out in my tired state yesterday I misread where to put the front up cable I had put them in the wrong bit silly me thanks for all ur help.
