CNCSIT :
Your ram should be the same, clock speed, brand, and size. so if you have one dimm with a 2gb stick and one with a 4 gb it likely won't work. sometimes it will work out but the general rule of thumb is to go with the exact same. You can try booting with only the 4 gb as suggested above and that will likely tell you as well. also your ram is loaded in order starting in dimm 1 so make sure you move the 4gb stick over to that slot when you remove the 2gb stick.
So i try to run the pc with only 4gb ram on the first slot without 2gb ram and my pc run but screen stays black and when i put 2gb ram it works and when i put my 4gb ram and 2 gb ram together it works but on my properties it say that i have only 2gb ram and on CPU-Z says i have 6gb of ram
I refresh my pc it says that the new hardware was detected and i refresh it, and says 2gb ram.
I dont know what to do anymore plz help.
and my pc boots up faster than without 4gb ram
Rams are the same brand kingstone
