Question installed SSD; kept HDD; 2 separate boots. I only want one. Help

Hi,
I recently add 1TB SSD and cloned my system from my 500GB HDD with Win 7. I can switch between the two by changing BIOS from SSD to HDD for ex. I want to keep the HDD for storage. How do I gain access to HDD when using SSD?

Do I just reformat the HDD? I don't even know how to search to look up a solution - I'm not sure how to define the problem to people. Maybe there is a link you can point me to. Help.

Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer.

Note: My plan is to update Win 7 to Win 10 on SSD, stabilize it, then reformat the HDD to use it for storage for photo files.

if you're confusing with all the gibberish just reinstall the windows 10 on SSD and re-format the HDD
