So my brothers laptop doesn't have a disk drive and he really wants me to install Fable: The Lost Chapters for him, a game of 4 disks.

So i downloaded Imgburn and created iso's of all the disks and gave him the files via a usb
Next i downloaded DAEMON Tools to mount and install the game, everything goes fine until it wants the second disk, i simply unmount and mount the next disk but it refuses to return to the original disk drive directory to find the content.

To confirm it wasn't the game its self i also created Iso's of Lord of the rings: Return of the king and Call of Duty 1 and attempted the process again but the same issue persists, i also mounted them on the desktop i created them from and had the same issue but i think that due to the fact it actually has a physical disk drive

Does anyone have any idea how to get any iso game to install in this fashion?

EDIT: I DO REALIZE THE EASIEST SOLUTION IS TO BUY A USB DISK DRIVE BUT I'M BROKE AND STINGY BY NATURE

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

This is like pirating games. If it was so simple, everyone would have been ...<Suggestion of a specific crack removed by Moderator> for the game you want to install. Create a common iso or 4 isos, and try installing.

I'm not asking for a cracks or patches i want to know how to get the installer to look in the same virtual drive for the disc content, Every time i ask a question on this site, you people don't even read the post. If its lack of legitimacy that causing me to not receive any help i'm more than happy to upload a picture containing the date my account name and the game box and disks

If you read, i already made 4 separate iso's and tried to install but when it asks for disk two it doesn't look in the right drive for the disk...

The idea for mixing all the disk files into one ISO sounds good tho, ill give that a try

I know you're not. The other person who I quoted was suggesting such.

Now, on to your problem...

You just don't get it, why would i spend more money on something i already own? Even if it is just 3.50!

Regardless i solved the issue. Not technically but if he can play the game that's all that matters, i installed the game on my own PC and just gave him the game files and he mounts the play disk iso so theres no need for the physical disk

Or he could download an NOCD exe

Issue resolved, Request thread closure.
Thanks for the suggestions...

Multiple installs require multiple purchases.
You already own it. He doesn't.
