My computer is currently broken.

I am buliding a new Ryzen 1700 computer and keeping my old ssd card that has window 7 installed.

I know that ryzen only allow window 10 normally.

1)Will i have trouble booting ( with window 10 usb) into the window 10 screen to format my old SSD which currently has window 7 on it then proceed to install window 10?

2) Is there anyway i can back up my old SSD files without another working computer?

Solution
If you're asking "can it be done?" then the answer is yes. Using the new installation media with Windows 10 on it, you would simply boot into it and allow it to install on the SSD. This would completely reformat and wipe the drive to install a fresh copy of Windows it so back up your files.
