Installing 1060 GTX removing AMD 265

I would like to completely uninstall the AMD drivers. Should I remove them before I replace the card with my new 1060 GTX?

I just want to avoid having to reinstall everything because of the video display drivers not working.

You can use DDU.
http://www.wagnardmobile.com/

Then install 1060 and download drivers.
