Installing a 12 pin graphics card?
So my friend is installing a 12 pin graphics card using 2 molex to PCI power leads but for all they re the same type of lead they re different models I think?
They both have 2 molex coming off each other then on the other side is a PCI plug
Both obtaining 6 leads
But one of them doesn t have a lead going to one of the middle prongs on the PCI plug..
So please tell me, how do I use these leads? Will they work??

Solution
It's a bad idea to use adapters to run graphic cards , not having the proper PCIE connections is a sign you need a new PSU.

Tell your friend he needs a proper power supply that has the PCIe cables to power his graphics card and that using adapters is almost never a good idea. If his power supply lacks the necessary cables then it was not made to do the job he wants.
