hello everyone:
i had my lenovo ideapad since 2014 and it served me well and still does, but i need more storage capacity, so i thought of buying a 2tb hard drive to replace my original 1tb. is it possible to do so?
the 2tb have the same form factor as the original one. but when i looked up the hardware spec for the Z510 it says the supported capacities are:

• 2.5-inch, 7 mm/9.5 mm SATA
• 500 GB / 750 GB / 1TB 5400 rpm /8GB + 500 GB SSHD/8GB + 1 TB SSHD

Note: i asked in the Lenovo forum and they said that they don't have a registered success on upgrading to 2tb for my model.

so i ask ... will there be any problems or compatibility issues? if so, what kind of problems that might occur if i did decide to swap my old 1tb for the new 2tb?
