I have had my pc for a while and only juts bought an NVMe M.2 drive to store some extra games on. I installed the 970 evo into the M2_2 socket, I checked in my bios and it is not detecting the drive, windows also doesn't detect any drive. I have tried changing settings in my bios as recommenced but nothing has helped.

Bios version: 1302
Motherboard: Asus Strix Z270e
M.2 drive: 970 Evo

I have tried that and it comes up with and error saying there is no drive installed, windows doesn't see a drive connected in device manager or anywhere else

I am having the same exact issue as you. Bought this ssd on 6/10/19 and have tried multiplesolutions and have not been able to figure out how to get my bios/windows to detect the drive...did you figure out how to fix this problem?
