[SOLVED] installing a gpu, need assistance

ive just received an amd radeon hd7470 and i need it putting into my tower, do i need to install the drivers first or inster the card first then download the drivers? or does it not matter? also i have intel hd2000 Intagrated graphics at the moment so do i need to unintsall that first? im so confused

You put the GPU in your build, boot it up, see if it works.
After you've determined it works, you download the drivers.

ive just put the gpu into my pc, the fan spins but when i put my DP to hdmi cable into the back and i go to my tv there is no picture? should there be a display before i install the ddrivers or do i have to install the hd7470 drivers then install the card?? im panicking so much right now, is it broken?#

Are you able to see the BIOS, as they doesn't require any drivers to pull up?

dosnt need any extra cables, the fan is spinning, its just still saying im using intel hd graphics and not my amd gpu

My guess is because the drivers aren't installed, so Windows is just defaulting to default graphic drivers.

I suppose the card is that old that AMD just cut the support for the drivers.
You dont need drivers to run your graphics card, but is recommended.
You cant download the drivers for the card if the card is not recognized.
You need to install it and get it to post, then you can download the drivers if you want to.
If you try to download GPU's drivers withouth it being installed and recognized by the system, you will just get a error while trying to download.

i play on my tv, is around 50 inch, just checked my display settings and its saying my amd is now being used?# but i havnt reset my system or anythoin g? my screen just went off for abit and came back on? you think its fixed?

Possibly it was just a long transition from intel hd to hd7470
