Hello there,

I recently purchased an "Akasa Vegas MBA - Addressable RGB LED Strip Light", and upon further inspection, I can't seem to connect it to my motherboard. I've looked and didn't find any 3 pins or 4 pins on my motherboard that I can use.

My motherboard: ROG Strix, Z270-F Gaming
Link to the strip: http://www.akasa.com.tw/update.php?tpl=product/product.detail.tpl&no=181&type=Gaming&type_sub=RGB%20LED%20Lighting&model=AK-LD07-60RB

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
LKnagg.

Under the features tab, you can see they (Akasa) said the adapter cable included ( in the 3rd picture).

In other hand, when you check the specifications tab: the MB Compatibility List, and you will see your MB, ROG Strix, Z270-F Gaming, is not in the list. So if you can't work it out, return it. Sorry.

Hi,

neither of the connectors that followed the strip work to plug into those headers. The RGB headers on my motherboard are 4 pins, but if you see the image here, https://gyazo.com/befc41d81b02f77c976ffff37595c41c, you can see that it doesn't work since both of the adapters are for 3 pins. None of the two adapters fit.
