My computer has integrated graphics on my i5-3330 and I was going to upgrade to a gtx-660
my issue is do i need to do anything special besides attached to the pci slot and the PSU?
i only have 1 monitor so i do not know if i need to disable the intel graphics or not either

No nothing special, just the correct connections from your psu that match the gtx-660 and the pci slot. And no disabling the intel graphics is not needed and surely not recommended.

You should be fine, just pop the graphics card into the pci slot. Just remember to grab the new and updated drivers from the NVidea website. Everything else will be good, the driver software will take care of the rest. (and if its anything like radeon will give you a software suite to manage your graphics).
