Installing a new graphics card

I had an old ATI Radeon HD 5670 and am upgrading to a Geforce GTX 650 ti. How to i install it?

I put it in earlier today and got a black screen with three beeping noises.

Do i need to uninstall my current drivers and install the new ones after i install the new card?

if so how do i go about doing so?

^exactly...

remove the new card and re-insert old card. remove driver

insert gt 650, install nvidia driver

*make sure you put 6 pin power from PSu to gtx 650 ti

what are the other spec. of your sys. and your psu.

your card is not getting proper supply to make it run.

Uninstall drivers from ATI card (With it still in)
Take it out, put in the 650 ti
Install drivers.
(Put in 6 pin connector)
