installing a powerful battery by replacing old battery in computer UPS

Can I use a powerful battery to my computer UPS ? Currently the UPS is loaded with 12V, 7Ah battery . Is it possible to replace the battery with a powerful one on the same UPS ?

You should make contact with the UPS manufacture, or check the manual and/or the UPS to see EXACTLY what model number and type of battery it uses and replace ONLY with that battery. The UPS is designed to work with the type/model battery installed by the factory and generally you can't add a more powerful battery to gain longer run times.
