Question installing a second m.2 nmve ssd to ROG STRIX B560-A GAMING WIFI mobo lowers gpu performance?

I'm about to install another m.2 nmve ssd in the second slot, primarily for games. I have an RTX 3080 and I'm wondering if this will lower the performance of the gpu. Will it go from 16 to 8 bandwith?, if so is it better to rather buy a 2.5 ssd? the mobo is ROG STRIX B560-A GAMING WIFI
