installing a ssd into a hp xw6200 workstation

hi i am thinking about buying a 120 ssd drive for my hp xw6200 workstation and wanted to know if a sata 3 ssd would work in my pc or would i have to buy a different one. any advice would be appriecated thanks

A sata 3 ssd is compatible with and sata 1 or 2. The speeds will just be limited by the connector.
