I got the card from a friend recently (it's a good friend and if something is wrong he will return the money) and I got it home and call me a noob but I don't know how to connect the power.

I see that there are 14 pins. But I have one pcie cable that has the potential for 16 (2 6+2) pins on one end to 8 on the other. Do I need to use two of those with one using 8 pins and the other only using 6 or can I use just one cable and connect all 14 from one 8 pin?

I just built this co
Outer and had a 750ti in it for a week until I saw this buddy of mine and it doesn't require additional power and honestly I have never don't this before.

Thank you for your help.

Solution
Use 2 with one using 8 and the other 6. Shouldn't matter tho but drawing less with 2 may mean a small bit better stable power.

Use the first 6+2 pin cable as an 8-pin by putting the two parts together. Plug it into the 8-pin header.
Use the second 6+2 pin cable as just a 6-pin by leaving the 2-pin portion hang loose. Plug it into the 6-pin header.

What is the model PSU you are using?
