Installing an Intel g645 processor on a 945GCT-HM motherboard

Hi, I'm not really that good with PCs. The processor that I'm using now with my current motherboard (945GCT-HM) is an intel core 2 duo e4400 processor and I'm just wondering if it is possible to replace it with the Intel g645 dual core processor? Will my motherboard support it?

No it will not support as your mobo uses socket 775 whereas for 2nd and 3rd gen cpu uses 1155.you need to get new mobo like h61,b75,z77 chipset.
