Hi,

I'm in the process of doing my first build. I'm building in the NZXT 340S elite case and I picked I'm replacing the 2 stock exhaust fans with Corsair AF120 LED fans and hoping to put the two stock ones in the front as intakes. My question is on where to plug in the wiring. I plugged in the new fans in the same connection that the existing ones were installed, but now I don't know where to plug in the 2 stock fans to use as intakes. I'm also wondering if the LED will work on the Corsair fans if they are plugged into the stock wiring or if it has to be plugged into the MOBO

Solution
If you have more than two fan headers on your motherboard you can plug them into those. If not, you will need to buy an adapter.

Adapters can be either a splitter or an adapter that works from a molex or SATA power connector from your PSU.

Okay thanks I looked on my Asus Rog Strix b350f-gaming MOBO and I see it has 2 CPU fan plug ins as well as AIO Pump and CHA Fan. Now my next question, should I plug the Corsair LED fans directly onto the MOBO to use as exhaust? Or will the LED lights work with the stock wiring and I"ll plug the NZXT fans into the MOBO ports to use as intakes in the front
