Hello
I'm installing a GPU and when I boot I get:
"Input signal out of Range. Change settings to 1920 x 1080 - 60hz"
If i try to enter BIOS while booting I get a black screen which only shows basic information like proccessor speed and type. Says "Press escape to Startup" but no key inputs are recognized.
If i start normally without pressing any keys I get a Beep, 15 seconds later a Beep, 15 seconds later 3-4 very quick (so fast its hard to distinguish) beeps (Bios flashing failed afaik?).
When i remove the GPU (CPU has integrated graphics card) the computer boots normally.
Specs:
Prebuilt Package Name: HP Pavilion p7-1127c
Processor: Intel Core i3 2120
Motherboard: IPISB-CU (Carmel2) - (pci x16 is ver 2.0)
GPU: MSI GT 710 2GD3 LP - (pci x16 version 2.0)
BIOS: v7.14 08/11/2011
What I've tried:
Booting in Safe Mode:
Lowering Resolution:
Resetting BIOS settings to default
UEFI boot is enabled
DVI and VGA
Questions
Would the processor's integrated GPU have a display driver that needs to be uninstalled first?
I've searched all over and troubleshooted for hours, so any help is appreciated. The GPU was ordered online so returning would be a hassle.
Thank you.
