Is installing a hard drive hard? Or should I get someone to do it for me?

Installing a hard drive into your desktop or laptop PC is pretty simple as all it involves is undoing some screws and slotting some cables in. Which pc do you have? There are tutorials on the internet.

It's pretty easy to do the installing of an HDD/SSD in your computer.

After you've physically attached the HDD to your system:
1. You just need to initialize the drive: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=xT2GVI
2. Then partition & format the HDD for use: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=vk4oqZ
