Installing HDD to laptop

Hello everyone!
Sorry this might be a dumb question but I bought this HDD from Asia and used it with my desktop but now I want to use this HDD in the USA by connecting to my laptop. So I was wondering will the voltage difference from Asia to USA effect my HDD? I don’t want to lose any data that why I didn’t try connecting it as of yet. Please help.

No....you wont' have any problem. The difference in voltages is on the AC side. Your power supply turns this to DC....and the DC is the same no matter what country you are in.
