Installing Heat Sink For 1336 on an 1156 MB

Here is the situation. I just got a heat sink in the mail. In the literature, it said it was compatible with socket 1156
However, when I got it, it only indicated it was compatible with the 756 and 1336.
I called the manufacturer-they are going to send me a mount for the 1156.
It is going to take over a week to get it. (They are not going to charge me for the part)

I am just not sure if there is any way to make this work without waiting for the part.
If I had known I needed the part before I ordered this heat sink, I would have asked for the part or purchased a heat sink that had an 1156 bracket with it.

Any assistance would be appreciated..

the clamp shudve come in the packaging, i wudnt recommend using any make shift tecnique
