Installing M.2 SSD

Hey! I have a MSI H81m-P32L Motherboard and I was thinking of buying a Samsung 970 EVO 250GB M.2 PCI-e Gen 3.0 x 4, NVMe 1.3 Solid State Drive. So the question is, would it work? Because by the looks of it I don't really see M.2 install slots on my motherboard or I don't know if I just don't see but it might just because I am dumb and I'm not the most tech-savy person around. I just wanna be sure and hear from you guys is it possible or will I have to get a regular SSD like a Kingston A400 2.5" 480GB?

Thank you for your time!~

Solution
Given that the platform is aged and it's a known fact that Haswell series 80 series boards lacked proper UEFI support for NVMe drives(M.2 at least) that you're better off looking at a suitable 2.5" form factor SSD. If you're looking at speeds + endurance, I'd suggest looking at Samsung or SK Hynix branded SSD's in the 2.5" form factor.

Thank you so much guys for the quick response! I had a funny feeling it would have to be a regular 2.5" SSD which doesn't bother me, it would've just been really nice if I could get the M.2 one 🙁

I'll look into the Samsung or SK Hynix you recommend to me @Lutfij ! Thanks again~ ^_^

It might work, but not as the boot drive.
Not even close to gaining enough benefit for the extra cost and hassle.

Just get a regular 2.5" SATA III drive.

I am guessing I won't get that 3000mb/s reading power but probably brought down to the 2.5" level of like 500-700 when I use the adapter?
If that's the case then yeah I'll just get the regular SSD haha.
Thanks for everyone's help! Appreciate it a lot ^_^
