Installing my gt 220 in someone else's computer

Hello . I'm getting a new graphics card and I'm going to sell my old one to my friend. I am going to give him the GT 220 that came with my HP p6280t. My question is, since I don't have a cd with drivers on it, can I just download the drivers from the nvidia website and use that in place of the drivers that would be on the cd?
