Hello, thank you in advance to anyone who can help with this issue.
I have recently built a custom PC for mid range gaming. Here are the specs:
Mobo - Asus P8H61 MX-R2.0
RAM - 2x 8gb HyperX Fury 1600ghz
CPU - Intel Core i3 3220
GPU - MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4gb
PSU - Thermaltake Lightpower RGB 450w
Case - Thermaltake Versa c22 snow edition
I have soon decided to upgrade my CPU to an i5 3470, but to no evail. I have downloaded the latest BIOS from the official website (1109), I have updated all drivers, have Windows 10 Pro on my WD Green 240gb SSD, and have a seperate 1tb Toshiba HDD for files and storage. I have legit tried everything from refreshing the BIOS by taking out the battery for 3-5 mins and putting back in. Tried booting from different devices, updated BIOS, searched compatibility in which i5 3470 (Ivy Bridge) IS compatible with the P8H61-MX R2.0. I'm stumped. This is my second CPU of the same kind and i'm really getting frustrated now.
