i just got anew 1050ti ( previously had a r7 360) and im trying to install it, i think i have uninstalled the amd driver but i simply cannot instrall the new nvida driver bc, if i plug in the gpu it disbled onboard graphics so i cannot see what im doing🙁

your mobo should have at least a vga and most likely dvi connection. run off your mobo/chip video until you get it squared away.

that said, you should still get picture with a new gpu it just wont be pretty until the drivers are installed. I found with my 1050ti it even installs some legacy drivers itself. When I installed GeForce experience it indicated I had existing NVidia drivers. a few minute into windows the picture resolution improved to my monitor settings. thought that was kinda neat.

THE PROBLEM IS WHEN I PLUG IN THE GPU THE ONBOARD STOPS WORKING AND I CANT DO ANYTHING , THE GPU ISNT FAULTY ITS BRAND NEW AND WAS TESTED JUST EARLIER TODAY sorry for caps oops

like I tried saying and so did others, while the picture may not be pretty. One of the 2 sources would work without drivers. Unless you have old drivers in the system. There is software that can scan and remove them. use cc cleaner to clean your registry as well.
Other things to check are to verify you have good connections with your cable. Verify you have power to your gpu. do the fans spin on post?
