Installing new GPU - No Signal

Hi,
I bought a new GPU for my PC see link below..

I had GeForce Nvidia GTX 560 installed
I replaced my 560 with my 7790 and I get no signal to my monitor. The GPU's fans are rotating...
Any help appreciated.

If you have a motherboard/ processor that has an integrated GPU or a motherboard with video built into the chipset, try putting the monitor to the onboard graphics and see if you have a signal there. If so, you can use that to go into the bios and set the discrete card as the default graphics and possibly correct the problem.

If not, well, that's a whole different line of troubleshooting. I'll just start here and see what your answer is.

Yes I have the onboard graphics. And I get the signal to my monitor. Also if I put my old 560 in that works well. Could it be the PSU?

It could also be some drivers?

It's probably a setting in your bios, called something along the lines of "primary graphics" or "first graphics."

Thank you for fast replay..
When my new card is in the computer the computer does not even go to POST. I know that because when i turn off the computer it turns off quickly (I don't have to wait for 5 sec holding the button down like when it's booting up.)

OK. try this:

with the new video card installed, connect the monitor to the on-board graphics. See if you get a video signal that way.

If so, as it boots, enter the bios, find the setting for "primary graphics" and set it to "PCIe 1" or something along those lines. save and exit and reboot. switch cables to the new video card and test.
