Hi, I'm going to be upgrading to a new Mobo and cpu soon, and I was wondering how I would install the new OS. Because I do not have the disc. I bought this pc off ebay and not from a store, so I don't think the os is liscensed to the mobo. So is there a way I could install windows 7 without the disc?

Thanks

You will have to buy a new copy of windows. The old windows coa was for your oem board only. Hp boards have a small bios file that tells windows it's an official hp motherboard with hp bios, even if asus made it for hp. Check craigslist for unopened copies of windows 7. I recommend a copy with both 32 and 64 bit dvd's.
