I just finished building my new system. I'm running into a lot of problems re-using my old Hard Drive. I know that the problem is that my old HD has the old windows configurations and drivers on there so when it sees the new specs / drivers, it refuses to recognize it.
I made a bootable Windows 7 USB and I stuck in there and booted it there but it keeps ignoring it and continues its system repair & restart cycle.
I'm willing to wipe out my old HD's data if necessary, even though I would prefer not to do it. I don't want to pay for a new HD because I already have 2 old ones that I stuck into the new comp.
I can't even access safe mode by pressing F8 because it won't even let me into Windows period with the old HD.
What can I do?
