Installing new SSD in laptop

i have recently purchased an ssd for my laptop. i have the free upgrade to windows 10. i would like to clean install the ssd and not keep anything from my old hard drive. however i am unsure how to retrieve windows . any advice would be appreciated.

If you download the latest Media Creation Tool for Windows 10, you will get the November Update include, which lets you activate at install with your Windows 7 or 8 key. So boot from the ISO or USB you create from a working machine, and when prompted for a license key, enter your current key and should activate and continue with a clean install.
