Installing OS failed

Help!
I have just built myself a PC but when I tried to install Windows, all it showed was "Recovery, Your PC needs to be repaired"
Please help!
I do not know what to do and I am extremely worried\

If you want a fresh install, install to another harddrive or partition.
It's recommended anyway for a new system, a fresh install.

What do you mean? This is my first time installing this on this PC
This is the first time booting

Maybe you used a Windows recovery DVD and not the Install DVD.
