installing os in netbook

im trying to install windows 7 now in my Acer Aspire One AOD27Q, i have bootable usb with windows 7 that i copy from a disc, i plug my usb turn on my netbook i press F12 and select
USB HDD: GENERIC then the screen goes black with a blinking cursor . may i stuck or do i need to wait for it to load. thanks guys just a newbie

I have seen those Windows 7 installs take a little while to start up on netbooks.
Give it some time and hopefully it'll come to life.
[EDIT] You could also try booting that USB on a desktop to confirm that it indeed does work.

Thank you so much dude, it's about 15minutes now and still in black screen i will wait for another 15-20 minutes

heres comes problem again . "im in select driver to be installed:" and my device driver is missing . i try to search for sata driver and i go to acer website and download AHCI intel sata AHCI driver 10.1.0.1008 but its still missing
