Installing Printer

I'm trying to install my printer. pop up says (you can install only one
device at at a time. another device installation is under way. you can
install when it is finished. How can I get rid of the installation that is
under way? This was from a Comcast installation a year ago that the comcast
guy said I didn't need to finish.

Call Comcast and have them fix their problem first. After Comcast has taken
care of your issue regarding their software you can focus on installing your
printer. Follow the installation instructions to the letter. Some
hardware, especially printers and scanners for some reason, can be
incredibly picky about how they are installed. Only plug in and turn on the
printer when directed to do so by the installation software or written
instructions.
