Installing program on secondary internal harddrive

I have a primary SSD and a secondary HDD. My SSD is at 90% capacity and its a 50GB HDD. I have a secondary HDD that is a 320GB 5400RPM HDD. All of this is connected via SATA to my MOBO. I tried to install Battlefield 3 on my computer but it won't let me select my secondary harddrive as the location. What is my problem?

Are you doing this through Steam or off a DVD/CD?


If off Steam then all programs will be installed to the drive that Steam is on.
