Installing Quicken 2004 on Windows 7

I have bought a new computer with windows 7 operating system, my old computer used windows XP, I am therefore a novice with windows 7.
I have used Quicken 2004 on windows XP but the installed programme will not open in windows 7. I get the message about missing mfc70.dll.
Can anyone offer me a step by step solution to this

Working on it. Downloaded files to a "downloads" folder but struggling to advance from there via the DOS command prompt. Although Quicken is installed some where not yet found where in windows 7

Well I got there! entered the missing dll's into the quicken programme and Hey Presto.
