each time i try to install the recovery console i get the following message
Setup cannot continue because the version of windows on your computer is
newer than the version on the cd

Frost, with the WinXP CD in the drive did you go to Start>Run type:
d:\i386\winnt32.exe /cmdcons where d is the drive letter for the CD-ROM
drive?

If SP2 is installed,and recovery wasnt installed before SP2,then youd have
to boot to the xp cd to access.
