Installing SSD on Gigabye GA-G41m Combo

hi, i using gigabyte motherboard with dual core and 125GB HD. can i just instal SSD and run it or need any configure. please be advice i am beginners for this.

No special configuration needed, it's just like replacing any HDD. Be aware that things will benchmark a little slower than on a newer board because ICH7 is only SATA2 and doesn't support AHCI, but you are unlikely to notice anything, plus TRIM works fine even without AHCI with the default Microsoft driver.
