Question Installing to the wrong drive

I recently had to troubleshoot a friends PC. I removed my M.2 ssd to see if his worked. I migrated my OS to my hard drive which used to be partitioned as A:. It removed that partition and replaced it with C:. After I was done with my friend's M.2, I moved the OS back to my SSD and couldn't re-partition my HDD as A:. Now when I try to reinstall icue, it says "invalid drive A:" even when I selected install onto my HDD (drive D

Any help?

You'll need to explain how you migrated the OS back to the HDD and what software you used to do it with.

People don't use A: drive as it used to refer to a floppy disk drive, back in the day.
Normally second drives start from D: and move to Z:

I used Minitool partition to migrate the OS.
