Installing Ubuntu for a new build?

Hey, I'm wondering how I can install Ubuntu as my first OS for my new gaming build?

You download the iso and burn it to a disk.

Then, put the CD in your computer and install it..... really, it's that simple. Just like Windows, you put the CD in and click a few options with your mouse.

What do you mean by "first OS"?
Are you trying to create a multi-boot system?

Do you have another computer with web access? If so, pick you favorite distro and then burn it to a CD or use something over at http://www.pendrivelinux.com/ if you'd rather use a flash drive. Make sure you use a program to burn the iso, simply copying the files won't work. After that, the installer will walk you through the rest.
